Founding role · Sales & Marketing - revenue and adoption

Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Own revenue and adoption end to end. Land and grow the world's largest companies and governments.

Apply for this roleAll open roles

You own revenue and adoption end to end, and both numbers, not one of them. The whole motion is yours: pipeline, pilots, design partnerships, expansion, and the marketing engine that feeds them. We sell to the largest enterprises and governments on earth, so this is not a role for someone who has only sold to mid-market. It is for someone who can walk into a bank or an agency, find the budget and the aligned decision-makers, and move.

Customer-facing, so remote-friendly: base yourself in any major US city with good airport connections. Offices in all nine cities if you want one.

What you'll do

  • ▸Own revenue and adoption as the two metrics the function lives and dies by
  • ▸Build the GTM motion end to end: design partnerships → pilots → strategic expansion
  • ▸Land $250K design partnerships on relationship and trust; stand up $2.5M-$25M pilots; grow accounts toward $250M ARR
  • ▸Sell to the CEO/CIO/CTO and agency leadership at the world's largest companies, banks, and governments
  • ▸Hire and lead the sales, marketing, and RevOps team; install the operating cadence and forecasting discipline
  • ▸Partner with product and forward-deployed engineering so what we sell, we can deliver

Required

  • ▸You have carried and hit a number at enterprise scale, selling to the C-suite of very large organisations
  • ▸A book of relationships you can genuinely call on in week one, not a network you would have to rebuild
  • ▸You have run the full motion, not just closing: pipeline generation, design partnerships, pilots, expansion
  • ▸Operating rigor a board can read: forecasting you stand behind, and a pipeline that means something

Nice to have

  • ▸You have sold in banking, financial services, or the public sector, where our first customers are
  • ▸You have built a marketing function as well as a sales one
  • ▸Experience taking a category-creating product to market, where the buyer has no budget line for you yet

What winning looks like

  • ▸Revenue vs plan, and forecast accuracy
  • ▸Adoption: active usage and net revenue retention
  • ▸Design partnerships landed, $2.5M-$25M pilots stood up, and strategic accounts grown toward $250M

What comes with the job

  • ▸Stock options for every full-time teammate, four-year vesting with a one-year cliff
  • ▸Annual performance bonus, or on-target earnings with uncapped commission for customer-facing roles
  • ▸Medical, dental and vision for you and your family, plus life and disability cover, on the highest plan tier available to us
  • ▸A 401(k) with company matching
  • ▸Pay reviewed every year and on promotion, benchmarked to your role and market
  • ▸A budget of AI tokens of your own
  • ▸Gym membership, and retailer discounts redeemed through our benefits app
  • ▸Remote-friendly around your family, arranged one person at a time
  • ▸$1,000 plus $10,000 in equity for a referral we hire who stays a year
